Good news came as Scotland welcomes people from the US and EU with no need to quarantine for those who have been double vaccinated! Many have rescheduled their Golf trip to Scotland once, even twice but now it looks like the light is at the end of the tunnel and golfers can book their travel with confidence.

There's still a few months left of the Scottish golf season and if that's too short notice then now is a great time to start planning for a trip in 2022. The Open returns to the Old Course for its 150th Anniversary so next year is not to be missed.

Scotland has over 550 courses spread all over the country. Travel around the mainland and islands taking in the sights as you go or if you want minimal travelling from your accommodation stay in one of the main golfing regions. Of course you want to come to play on an Open venue championship course. I would highly recommend playing one or two, but make sure to play one of Scotland's lesser know, less flashy courses and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Scotland's links can make for challenging conditions and dramatic entertainment from the world's best players. The Open returns to St. Andrews in 2022 (enter the ballot by October 2021) as well as European tour events the Dunhill Links and Scottish Open, which has just become a PGA Tour event for 2022.
